Peter D. Barnes

Co-founder and previously Chief Executive Officer of Silver Wheaton Corp., which grew into one of the largest silver companies in the world with a market capitalization of approximately $15 billion by the time of Mr. Barnes’ retirement in 2011. Mr. Barnes was previously Chief Financial Officer of Wheaton River Minerals Ltd. and subsequently Goldcorp Inc. following its merger, where he played an integral role in increasing the market capitalization of the combined company more than 25-fold to $13 billion and transforming Goldcorp from a junior gold producer to one of the world’s leading low-cost senior gold producers.

Mr. Black is currently serving as the Chair of Greystone Capital Management Inc. Prior roles include Chief Executive Officer of Greystone Capital Management (1992 to 2006), Chair of the Board of Directors of Farm Credit Canada (1995 to 2000), Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer Life Assurance Company (1985 to 1990), and Chief Executive Officer of Saskatchewan Government Insurance (1983 to 1985). Mr. Black was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in 2002, and appointed to the Saskatchewan Order of Merit and awarded the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal in 2005.

Mr. Felstad has 20 years of direct farming experience and owns and operates a 4,000 acre cereal grains and oilseed farm in Dapp, Alberta. He is committed to profitable agriculture through the adoption of the latest technologies and sustainable practices and to this end has served as a Director of the Gateway Research Organization, Western Grains Research Foundation and the Canadian Canola Growers Association.

His previous roles include Managing Director and Head of Canadian Institutional Equity Trading at Canaccord Genuity; Founding Partner and Head of Equity Trading of Genuity Capital Markets, a firm he helped build into one of Canada’s leading independent brokerage firms; Managing Director and Head of Institutional Equity Trading at CIBC World Markets.

Mr. Reineking is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder, a Chartered Business Valuator and a Certified General Accountant and has extensive experience in the commodity financing industry. Former Director of Finance and Controller for Silver Wheaton where he focused on the analysis, acquisition and financing of over $2 billion of acquisitions with companies including Goldcorp, Barrick Gold Corp. and Lundin Mining. Helped raise over $500 million of equity financing to fund these acquisitions and was responsible for the risk management and treasury functions of the company including management of a $600 million treasury portfolio.

Previously Manager of Corporate Development at Sherwood Copper Corp. (now Capstone Mining), an emerging mid-tier copper producer. He has a decade of experience in the brokerage industry with roles including Trading Manager of the BC and Yukon region of BMO Investorline Inc. and Assistant Branch Manager at Research Capital Corp.
